From yearning to be at home to being at home all day, 2020 has brought numerous twists. One such thing is all of us had to work from home . Initially things were so relaxing working from the comfort of the home but stress levels shot up after sometime . Everything seems overwhelming as days progress . Some miss face to face connection with their colleagues , some felt the need of separate work space and personal’ space and so much hurdles .

But chill, there are ways to cope up in this new ambience .

  1. Don’t work constantly in one place .

Yes . Change of place is important . Sitting constantly in a place for hours can make you feel boring . Try working in different spaces at your home . You can even plan a work-from-peaceful resort kinda sorts ,or to put this in a word work-ation! This can help you feel better and may reduce your stress level to an extent.

2. Involve yourself in a side hustle of your wish !

Whether you monetize it or not , passionately involve in any other hobbies . The greatest benefit is it can maintain your sanity . Also it can be a healthy coping mechanism for the mental issues you face . Find your solace, make it your passion.

3. Set clear boundaries between work and personal stuff.

Work and life are two hings . Don’t mix it up ,don’t think about the counterpart when youre doing one . Like don’t think of work when you watch a movie , and don’t distract yourself while working ! This can make your mind clear and can avoid unnecessary stress. Have an allocated time and space for both .

4. Relax yourself in between work .

While people think work from home is relaxing, but it actually makes you feel relaxed . But , if you try to take breaks in between , you’d love to work from home.

Listen to beautiful songs , have a good drink and forget everything else during the break !

5. Get into some form of fitness.

Fitness is one thing that’s most stressed in all of our articles. It hold such importance in everything . Apart from fat burning , it helps you to focus, it makes you vent out everything and can make your day ! It can be dancing , walking , boxing , playing anything ! Try giving some time for this and feel the change for yourself .Balanced and fit life will always give you a healthy mind.

Getting into new normal is a bit challenging . But once you figure out a good routine , then this normal wouldn’t be new anymore . Lets live alongside nature , lets prioritise our mind over anything !
